A Breakfast Recipe

Well, I guess this isn’t exactly what I call a recipe; it’s more like a breakfast idea.  Sometimes I think we get stuck in a rut and could use a new idea for what to make – for breakfast, for lunch, or for dinner.  This is an idea for breakfast.  It is super easy to make and it is delicious.  And, it is really a very quick fix.

Here’s what you will need to make this tasty breakfast:

English MuffinsI use Thomas’ English Muffins.

Butter

Thinly sliced Baked Ham from your deli counter – Make sure you use Baked Ham!

Eggs

Cheese – I used American cheese.

So, here are the really simple steps.

Spray a pan with cooking spray.

-To save on time and clean-up, crack the eggs directly in the pan and scramble them in the pan.

-When they are almost done, pop the English Muffins in the toaster.

-When the eggs are completely cooked, top them with the cheese and let the cheese melt.

Butter the toasted English Muffin halves.

Top one half of the muffin with the cheesy eggs.

Add a slice of the thinly sliced baked ham.  (I can’t stress enough that you must use Baked Ham to get the best taste.)

Cover with the other muffin half.

And there you have it, a delicious breakfast sandwich that only takes a few minutes to make.  So, surprise your family for breakfast and serve these great sandwiches.  I know they will love this.

And, if you have any quick and easy breakfast ideas, please share them with us.
