Watermelon Chiller

My Aunt Cindie brought this refreshing drink to our Memorial Day Party.  It is very simple to make and it was so tasty.  Give this a try.  It is sure to be your new favorite summer beverage.  And, if you have a favorite summer drink, I’d love to hear about it.

With this recipe you will get about four cups of Watermelon Chiller.

You will need:

2 ½ cups of seedless watermelon, chopped

3 TBSP of sugar

2 TBSP of fresh lime juice

2 cups of cold water

Ice cubes, for serving

Puree the chopped watermelon in a blender.

Add in the sugar and lime juice and puree for one minute.

Pour the watermelon puree into a pitcher.

Add the water.

Mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until chilled.

To serve, pour into an ice filled glass.

Garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.

Enjoy!

Note: If you want a little kick to your drink, you can add a splash of Vodka to your individual serving glass.

  1. Thanks for the great recipe! We love watermelon but it takes up so much room in the fridge. This is a great way save space by using the usual remaining left over half of a melon, and enjoy the same great taste in a beverage! 5 STARS on this one!

    • Thanks. I love this refreshing drink. It is so healthy too. I didn’t think of the added benefit of saving space!
