Welcome fall – my very favorite time of year.  I just love the cooler weather, the bright sunshine, and the crisp air.  I love the way nature just explodes with color.  Ah yes, all the beautiful colors of the trees.  I think those advertisements for Pure Michigan say it best – the trees soak up the sun all summer long and give it back to us in the fall.  What a beautiful time of year!

A time for football, sweatshirts, bonfires, and snuggling under warm blankets.  A time for a walk in the woods, or a hayride.  A time to rake leaves into a pile and then jump in them.  A time for apple orchards and pumpkin farms.  A time for candy corn, candy, candy and more candy.  A time for pumpkins – pumpkin carving, pumpkin patches, pumpkin bars, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pie – oh I love pumpkins!

A time for caramel apples, soup for dinner, and the smell of pie in the oven. A time for Indian corn, corn stalks, scarecrows, and hay bales.  A time for turkey, stuffing, and mash potatoes.  A time for family gatherings and thanksgiving.  A wonderful time of year.
