Chocolate Bundt Cake with a hint of Cinnamon

Here’s a really good recipe for a Chocolate Bundt Cake.  It has a hint of cinnamon which compliments the delicious chocolate.  It’s quite simple to make too – you don’t even need your electric mixer.  Give this a try.  I know you will just love it.

You will need:

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

½ cup buttermilk

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup of water

½ cup oil

1 stick of butter

5 TBSP cocoa powder

Preheat oven to 375 F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.

In a small mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Then, add in the buttermilk and vanilla.  Mix well.

Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix.

In a small sauce pan, combine the water, oil, butter and cocoa.  Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture comes to a boil.

Add the heated chocolate mixture to the batter and mix well.

Place batter in a Bundt pan sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake for 30 -35 minutes.

Cool and invert pan onto a cake plate.

Serve and Enjoy!
